Wallis has been conducting the Injured Workers Survey (IWS) on behalf of WorkSafe Victoria since 2014. This survey follows up on people who are injured or become ill because of their work, to collect feedback about experiences of being on workers compensation and dealing with the Insurance Agents. The monthly survey includes questions about services delivered by the authorised Insurance Agents handling people’s claims, as well as questions about health, rehabilitation and return to work. The worker survey requires sensitive handling as we are speaking to people who may be in a vulnerable position.
Wallis’ experienced interviewing team conducts approximately 400 interviews per month among injured workers. The survey is designed to continuously provide statistically reliable and valid Key Performance Indicators for the authorised Insurance Agents. Wallis introduced a secure and flexible reporting portal so that WorkSafe and its Agents can access performance scores for any Agent and time period, reducing the workload for our client, but also and importantly, providing transparency.
