Enthusiastic runners at Wallis have been supporting this fun run since its inception in 2006. This year we had a team of six brave volunteers who signed up for the long course, that’s 14.4 km! The runners in the group ate up the kilometres at an average pace of around 6:11 per km, well done!

The Victorian Competition and Efficiency Commission (VCEC) has recently published the full Wallis report on the inquiry into Victoria’s regulatory framework; Business and Not for Profit Organisations’ Perceptions of Victorian Regulation. This study comprised 1,000 interviews with businesses and not for profit organisations domiciled in Victoria in order to gain their view on Victorian Regulation. The VCEC drew heavily on the Wallis Report in its February draft report which is open for comment until April 8th 2011. Click here to view the Wallis report.

After 17 years in the CBD, Wallis Consulting Group has relocated to custom-designed offices in Cremorne (near Richmond). The new offices are 30% larger than the previous offices and allow expansion of the CATI interviewing facility as well as a separate group room, private interviewing room/briefing room and staff break out facilities. In keeping with the company’s environmental stance, all desks are recycled and the new offices have ample bike parking and shower facilities.

Last month keen Wallis skaters made it down to the new ice rink at Docklands and showed off their skating skills! (while others were trying not to fall!) Check out the photos below:
